The reproduction or use of photographs from the CNRS photo library is prohibited without CNRS Images' prior authorization. Reuse also requires permission from CNRS Images (except for Creative Commons material). None of the documents provided can be transmitted to a third party for any purpose whatsoever. No changes can be made to a photograph without prior authorization from CNRS Images. No photographs can be used for advertising purposes without prior permission.
Permission to reproduce the images is reserved exclusively for the purpose of promoting the activities of the CNRS and is granted free of charge (CNRS partnership, highlighting a CNRS laboratory or research, portrait of a CNRS scientist, CNRS research news).
Any other request will not be satisfied.
All documents used must include the following text: © CNRS Photothèque, followed by the photographer's name and any other mention that may be required (this information is provided along with the images).
Proof of publication of the images (e.g. a copy of the journal, URL of the website, PDF versions of panels for an exhibition, etc.) must be sent to the photo library within two months of the date of publication. Should the ordered photographs not be used, please let us know.
